Change The World in Our Own Little Ways
We already know that we have to experience a crisis in global warming today and it will get worse in the future. Things should be changed today, so the promise of a better tomorrow for our children is more likely to achieve. This crisis challenges us in the most difficult way we could imagine. We have changed now or our species are set to doom and engulfed by the unforgiving heat of the Earth's atmosphere.
Scientists all over the globe already calculated and it has been proven that we are the main reason why our own environment continue to heat up. The number one cause of global warming is our burning of fossil fuels way back to the era of industrial revolution up to the present. You might argue that we are getting too many problems to worry about in the future, but this is just a dishonest dealing with the reality, not to mention changing the topic until no problem has been solved.
As a matter of fact, there’s actually a lot of alternatives and solutions. Many people now appreciate the solar power as the source of energy. Solar-powered vehicles. In Singapore, they are now using solar films in their homes. Not only in Singapore, across South-East Asia people, are also learning to use solar film for windows. A natural source of energy that is way cheaper than another form of energy. However, embracing this change - from using fossil fuels to solar or wind energy - would be a difficult to achieve if the majority of people are not on the boat for it. This is like a boat that needs everybody to cooperate so it won't sink. This is not just an overtime work, and more importantly, don't think that this is just like when you read an inspiring blog telling you what to do about global warming, you just do it overnight then you'll fine? It takes dedication and a political will to encourage those people who are governing us to take a stand in order to survive.
Venus is an example of a planet with too much greenhouse effect. The temperature there is same as the temperature inside of a volcano. It’s uninhabitable, and there’s no way some species can survive. Too much greenhouse gasses cause the heat. We just lucky today that most of the heat are not being trapped in the Earth's atmosphere, that the heat still goes back to the space atmosphere. Imagine if that is not the case, imagine if the Earth were like Venus that the heat is just trapped in its atmosphere and can't’ escape -- Venus will just continue to heat up.
You can make a difference by also planting trees. Educate other people about burning fossil fuels, oil and coal can cause the global warming. Learning about the environment is very important. In addition, like I said before, you should take advantage of the sun's energy and go solar. In this way, you can save your home electricity. You might as well join a campaign that advocates fighting global warming. Make a difference in your society as early as today. Spread the word.
